Chair Quality
Features
Made In The USA Our skilled craftsman take great
pride in producing
furniture with value and lifetime quality.
Lifetime Guarantee Integrity of workmanship
provides peace of mind.
Custom Handcrafted Made to order, to your exact specifications.
Legs & Stretchers Reinforced with Screws
In addition to precision fitted parts, our extra step of
inserting a screw through the legs and stretchers
assures you a life-time of trouble-free, wobble-free
chairs.
Finished Underside
Another one of our trademarks.
In addition to eye appeal, finishing the underside helps
protect your chair from seasonal changes, cracking and
warping.
Martin Lock
Our exclusive, innovative construction detail on the
wedged tenons help the joints to remain tight. Another
reason we can give a lifetime guarantee on all our
chairs.
Solid Hardwood Bent Parts
Our bent chair parts use an
intensive method of bending that combines steam to make
the wood fibers pliable, and extreme pressure to form
the correct shape. These solid hardwood bent parts
produce
a chair that has a definite strength advantage over
their plywood counterparts.
Leveled Chair Legs
We know our chair legs are on the level, because after
assembly, we square them using an amazing precision
machine our father made! This extra step provides
seating comfort you can relax on.
Mortise & Tenon Construction
Many of our chairs make use of super-strong mortise and
tenon joinery, an age-old woodworking technique that has
never been improved upon.
Saddle Scoop
Scooped shaped seats provide optimal seating comfort.
Corner Braces
Rugged, triple grooved corner
braces combined with specially formulated glue and
industrial strength lags give you more than
a life-time of durability, service,
and functionality.
Chair
Dimension
Chair measurements are listed with each chair in this
format: W = overall chair width D = overall chair depth H = overall chair height SD = sitting depth SH = chair seat height AW = width between arms AH = chair arm height
Keystone Finish
Hand applied and custom formulated, our multi-layered colors and varnishes produce a depth of clarity, beauty,
and silky smoothness seldom experienced with today’s
furniture. Using up to 20 intensive finishing processes,
our finish is tough and durable.
Personalization
Our optional personalization seals your chosen wording
beneath our premier finishes, to permanently identify it
as the prized family heirloom your furniture will
become. It is also a great way to personalize a gift!
Assigned Serial Numbers
Unlike mass-produced furniture, we don’t start the
construction until we receive your order. Then we
assigna serial number to your furniture that helps us
hand-build your piece exactly the way you want it. Years
later, we can match your exact specifications if you
wish to add to your collection.
Craftsman Date & Signature
It shows we care! The personal connection with
commitment.
When your furniture is completed and inspected, each
piece receives our Keystone Collection™ insignia, and
the craftsman who built it signs and dates it—the
beginning of an heirloom, and to us, a mark of integrity
and excellence!
Specially Formulated Glue
If early furniture craftsmen had our glue, there would
be a lot more antiques! Our special formulation goes
beyond strength and longevity — we build in a little
elasticity that allows joints an imperceptible bit of
elasticity, keeping the joinery in your chairs tight,
wobble-free and functional for years to come.
More
screws, more glue,
more strength! Today’s modern adhesives make chairs stronger than
ever. “Finger Jointing,” the process of cutting grooves
in our chair skirts and
corner braces, enables us to apply more adhesive and
achieve tighter joinery, and we back that up with
industrial strength screws and lag anchors.
